Join our team as a Customer Service and Computer Support Specialist dedicated to Wildland Fire Incident Management Support. Duties include operating high volume copiers, printers and scanning equipment to produce incident action plans, maps, reports and other essential fire related documents. Provide exceptional customer service ensuring accuracy and clarity of all requests. Troubleshoot basic computer, printer and network connectivity issues. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisor regarding workload, priorities and technical issues.
Position can be fast paced and dynamic depending on the specific incident. Must have strong multitasking and time management skills under pressure. Familiar with computer systems, specifically Microsoft Office applications. Must have clean DMV with current CDL. Ability to drive large box truck is necessary. Position is an ON-CALL, seasonal job which requires a commitment due to the nature of our work. Candidate must live within one hour of Visalia due to response times to fires. We respond to all areas within CA and can be gone for long periods of time depending on the incident. Please send resume and reach out for further details.
