is cherry wood with parquet pattern.....Hutch has two glass doors w/ four open cubbies...."plus" the hutch has two middle shelves (one adjustable).....On top of desk holding the hutch there is a hole for wiring in back corner....Also there is wire access in back of the computer section of desk for lamp!!
