Maple is a 12 year old grade quarter horse mare. She stands at about 15.1 hands. She is broke and fancy. She neck reins, moves off legs, has a super nice stop and backs up nicely. She prefers light hands and someone who isn't always on her face. She loves trails and gymkhana. She is getting the games of gymkhana down pretty nicely but has only been to a few shows. She can be a nervous type if the rider is more of a nervous type when it comes to gymkhana, otherwise she's gentle in all other areas. She's athletic and has potential to do really well. In a herd she tries to be a lil bossy. She is very sweet and easy to catch. She's personable. When unsure about things on the trail not hard to coax her thru it. She's not typically unsure about things and not spooky. Goes thru her gaits with ease. Loads and unloads like a dream. Best suited for advanced beginner and up, as she likes soft hands and is responsive. Has slow collected gaits so would be suitable for a beginner more timid rider as long as timid rider isn't a ball of nerves as it makes her nervous. Been used with beginners for lessons and does really well with more confident beginners. No quirks or bad habits. No health or soundness issues. Vet checks welcome. Can show or deliver anywhere for price of fuel.
